MICHAEL MARQUEZ ARCHITECTS
A pair of highly visible speculative Office Buildings - a
two-story and a four-story - designed for Mike Moore and
Tejas Partners Development in Orange County. The project
was located on a slender triangular site between The Honda
Center, home of the NHL Anaheim Ducks hockey team, and
the 57 Freeway in Anaheim.
The project utilized two separate massing systems to identify and unify the buildings. The central bodies of each building were accentuated by a glass membrane and focused on the motor court, while the ends of each building were anchored by heavy stone veneer covered walls with punched windows, directed towards the freeway and Honda Center.
