During early 2007, while Jeff Baessler was building GT Dave’s
spectacular home in Trousdale Estates, he asked MMA to
design a new penthouse condominium for him on the
Wilshire Corridor in West Los Angeles. Shortly after Jeff
purchased the unit, we completely eliminated the interior
of the unit and began with an empty canvas.
The new design relocated the Master Bedroom Suite to the northeast corner of the space, to take full advantage of the magnificent views of the Santa Monica Mountains and the Guest Bedroom was moved to the east side of the unit. Italian travertine was used extensively to highlight the unit and new matching cabinetry accented the spaces as well. Special lighting was used to provide an excellent setting for either spending a relaxing evening at home or entertaining the guests with the city lights below as the breathtaking back drop.
