Tenant Improvement of the 1950's La Reina Theatre, on
Ventura Boulevard. Blue (formerly Light Speed Laser) is a
state of the art Care Studio and Men and Women's skin spa
specializing in laser hair removal, botox, tattoo removal and
the all new ultra personalized "blue" Spa treatments.
The design had to take into account the high ceilings of the old theatre. Thus, all the walls are self supporting and leave the ceiling plane visible. Fabric tensile structures float above the treatment rooms and create a fluid ceiling which incorporates reflective lighting throughout the space.
