This was a remodel of an existing Beverly Hills 1960's house
in Trousdale Estates, with an impressive view of the city
below. This was the third project for Doug Chapin and
proved to be a wonderful challenge to all the parties
involved. Nothing had been changed since the house was
originally built and it was decided to take this all the way
down to the studs and begin again.
The main objective was to create a new glass Entry, a Kitchen with all the modern touches, a Dining Room towards the view side of the house and an all inclusive Master Bedroom Suite to take your breath away. A new dark grey tile floor was introduced at the entry steps and was used throughout the entire house and out onto the rear patio and pool areas. The result was a seamless experience of indoor and outdoor spaces. Our signture use of dark brown woods complemetned the rest of the house.
Moshe Levin an his team from Turpin-Levin Builders Inc. worked every detail to the fullest and the result was a text book example of “before” and “after”.
